Management Committee
The Committee currently manage the Project, assisted by the Core Team on a day-to-day basis.

Part-time Office Manager
Karen Collins joined the team in May 2008 as a sessional worker and now manages our office and facilities.  Karen comes from a diverse background in the management of HR, Admin, IT, Sales, Marketing and Business Development and is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.  She has worked extensively across the private, public and third sectors, and has supported a number of charitable organisations. Karen's role is to update and develop DYP's systems and procedures to enable the Project to meet the needs of a modern charitable organisation, its funders and staff. 

Full-time Project Coordinator - Beat Goes On
Janice Swinburne joined us in March 2010 to manage our new 'Beat Goes On' project funded by the Big Lottery.  Janice has a wealth of youth work and managerial experience, and will be heading up the existing Beat mobile service, and introducing a new Mini Beat service in the new few months....watch this space!

Full-time Youth Worker - Beat Goes On
Joe Fannan is our new full-time worker for the Beat Goes On project, and will be supporting Janice in getting the new project operational. 

Part-time Youth Workers - Beat Goes On
Rachael Avery and Leanne Campbell started in November 2006 and have worked mainly within the Beat and TLC teams.  They have recently moved onto the new Beat Goes On team, and will also be supporting Janice in getting this new and exciting leg of the project up and running.

Part-time Health Engagement Worker Seaton Valley
Rachel Thompson joined DYP in 2008 and has supported various parts of the project.  She is now working as the Health Engagement Worker for the Seaton Valley area, and is based between Astley High School and our Cramlington office.

Full-time Detached Youth Worker
Debbie Jenkins joined in December 2008 - she comes to us with strong experience in youth work, and has a particular passion for detached youth work.

Mobile Unit, Teen  Life Check & Health Engagement Worker Seaton Valley
Rachael Avery and Leanne Campbell started in November 2006, and were joined by Rachel Thompson in 2008. Leanne's time is split between the Seaton Valley post and Teen Life Check.  Whilst she is away on maternity leave, Rachel Thompson and Rachael Avery are covering her workload.
