Fire Brigade Print E-mail

Hello!

I'm Ian Wilkinson and I'm responsible for Fire and Rescue Services in Cramlington. Our crews will respond if you have problems with fire or are involved in any emergency where we can help, including our main rescue response; Road Traffic Collision (RTC for short).

At RTCs we work in close co-operation with our colleagues in Police and Ambulance to provide a safe and speedy rescue. As young people new to the experience of driving you might be interested to hear that you are in an age group who are particularly at risk of being involved in an RTC - so please drive carefully!!

As well as RESPONDING to 999 calls, we also have a responsibility to PROTECT you from fire and other emergencies. So we give advice on a number of different risks, (not just fire!) as we would rather meet you before we have to put the fire out in your home or help extricate you from your crashed car.

As well as talking to you, we want to listen too, so if you want to contact me by e-mail, you can do so at:

This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

We take our safety role very seriously, so I would be happy to hear from anyone.
