Doxford Youth Project is one of South East Northumberland's main Youth Provision providers and works with a host of partner organisations including Northumberland Police, The Fire Brigade, Northumberland County Council, Youth Offending Team, Statutory Youth Service, Cramlington Learning Village, Newcastle RVI, Citizens Advice Bureau and numerous other voluntary and community youth organisations.
Our aim is to continue to create new opportunities for young people in the local area, and to encourage them to engage in positive behaviour and projects to boost their self esteem, confidence and employability.
We are always keen to seek further support from local businesses, both in practical terms and with financial assistance. With your help, we can do much more for our young people; in particular to help them to gain the confidence, life and employment skills they need to build meaningful and secure futures for themselves and the community.
We understand that these are difficult economic times for many businesses, but we desperately need to engage your help and support to continue and improve on the service we provide.
We are ideally looking for significant contributions to sustain us over the next few years. Contributions could be monetary, by donation of equipment/resources, providing practical support for young people, lending us an expert to help develop our website, or sponsoring of specific events/projects. To sustain us over the next few years, we need to source additional private funding, and would be grateful for any level of support you may be able to provide.
